To ensure a tasty crust and butter ribs comprises combining the following ingredients and mix well done.
This is what used to take four books rib:
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1 teaspoon herbes de Provence (or any mixture of dried herbs)
You can also do this with olive oil and use herbs and spices you like.
