This apple pie recipe is very simple, but is unusual in its construction. Contains flour or other starch filler bonding. The filling is of course substantially bonded caramelized apples, with natural pectin from apple peels and only a sufficient thickness, shiny apple syrup.
pinch of salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup water
1 package (15 oz) with Pillsbury pie or cake for a double crust 9 "pie
Can if you prefer a thicker padding starchier a few tablespoons of flour to add the apple slices.
Ingredients:
6 large red apples, sliced
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
pinch of salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup water
1 package (15 oz) with Pillsbury pie or cake for a double crust 9 "pie
