Apple cake with caramel glaze

Caramel glaze
2.1 stick (1/4 cup) butter
1/4 cup heavy (whipping) cream
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
The butter, cream and sugar in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until melted and smooth.
