10 favorite foods America gave the world

Peppers, spicy and sweet, are a common ingredient in almost all major kitchen. It is hard to imagine a time when it introduced no peppers in Asia or Europe, but it all started more than 10,000 years ago, in North and South America. Peppers were clearly one of the first plants to be cultivated by the Indians. Peru, to New Mexico, prehistoric man paprika increases both for its culinary and medicinal properties.

Christopher Columbus naming them "peppers" credited because they thought they had the taste of Asian spices (pepper variety). Brought upon his return to Europe, spread rapidly worldwide, mainly grows in the tropics.

No paprika, chili would not income!
