Preparation
Place a wire rack on a baking sheet and bake bacon slices in a single layer design. Slices of bacon can touch but not overlap. Show in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes.Combine the remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Remove the bacon and with a pastry brush, brush gently turn the sugar mixture over bacon, and baste the other side. Return to oven and bake for 5 minutes.
Remove and repeat the process every five minutes, about 30 minutes or until bacon crispy and caramelized. Cool on a rack until solid bacon.
