small change
I truly believe that most of New England Clam soup are basically same.However if the water or chicken broth w / clam juice / Balance much more palatable, even trying his, replace salt pork instead of bacon, it's the same amount of work and trouble, one thing I want is cream vs milk or half and half, they are all good, but I'm Revere Ma. and most people that I know love the thicker, clam chowder, lobster, corn etc ... if you thick as legals or thicker like, it will not w / all soups work. to thicken w / out additional meal try (the water heater after re-receive), and hope you enjoy!
