Crockpot rice and Cajun red beans

Preparation

1. Place the soaked beans in slow cooker. Cover with enough water to cover the cake of an inch. Add the garlic, bay leaf, Cajun spices, salt and pepper. Cook on high for the day, at least 8 hours.

2. After 8 hours, the beans will taste and adjust seasoning. Using a potato masher crush about 1/3 of the beans. In cooking smoked sausage and 30 minutes. Remove the bay leaves and serve with hot rice beans.
